Recipe: Spooktakular Pumpkin Spice Latte

Pumpkin Spice Lattes are an autumnal classic. Pumpkin, cinnamon and nutmegs blended with rich espresso is delightful and cozy. Usually it makes me think of big cozy sweaters and crisp fall air – but this year’s pumpkin spice latte is eerie-sistable. Using the Ripple Maker II Pro to create a two-color design with our Coffee and Glow pods gives us a lattes theĀ gourd-geous. It’s Jack-o-lanternicious. It’s pumpkintastic.


This Jack-o-lantern latte uses the Coffee Pod and the GLOW Pod, which is made with Vitamin B2 (Riboflavin) and is visible under a black light.

Pumpkin Spice Latte

A variation on the classic with all plant-based colors and flavors

  • 1 shot espresso
  • 3 tbsp pumpkin puree
  • 1/4 cup water
  • 1/4 tsp nutmeg
  • 1/4 tsp ginger
  • 1/8 tsp clove
  • 1/2 tsp cinnamon
  • 1 tsp maple syrup
  • 2 oz frothed whole milk


  • Brew a shot of espresso
  • Heat pumpkin puree, water and spices on the stove. Mix well and heat through
  • Add pumpkin spice infusion to the espresso
  • Add maple syrup, stir to combine
  • froth milk using a frother or another preferred method
  • Pour the frothed milk over the espresso and pumpkin spice mixture, fill to the brim of your mug
  • Place mug on Ripple Maker tray and print jack-o-lantern design
  • Shine a black light on your drink for full effect when serving
