I got a sneak peek at what’s coming to okanaresort for OKANAFest on October 17, and this is going to be a really cool event.
I spent the evening at OKANA getting a behind-the-scenes preview of Oklahoma’s first-ever resort-wide Food, Wine & Entertainment Festival.
We got to experience a culinary demonstration and tasting with OKANA Director of Culinary Chef Wyatt Rogers, plus a hands-on flair bartender experience with some incredible food and cocktails along the way.
And that was just the preview.
OKANAFest will have more than 30 food and beverage sampling experiences throughout the resort, along with live music, DJs, flair bartenders, aerial performers, roaming entertainment and a special appearance from Hell’s Kitchen Season 10 winner Chef Christina Wilson.
There’s even a free Boardwalk Block Party afterward to keep things going.

If I wanted guests to remember an event, I wouldn’t try to make every detail unforgettable. I’d intentionally create one moment that breaks the pattern.
Something unexpected.
