Recipe: Whiskey Chai Sour

The holiday season is here! And that means it’s time to explore the spices of winter.

Forget candy canes and gingerbread houses—this year, we’re making whiskey chai sours with our favorite new cocktail ingredient: Chai-infused bourbon or whiskey.

We’ve added a Chai-infused bourbon to our whiskey sour recipe and used lemon juice, caramel syrup, and aquafaba (vegan egg white) to create a perfect foam to top with a Ripples print. 

This recipe is simple—just add all of the ingredients to your shaker and dry shake it for 20 seconds before adding ice and wet shaking for another 40 seconds. Then double strain into a coupe glass and garnish with snowflakes (with the Chameleon pod) and cinnamon!

Whiskey Chai Sour

A spicy holiday twist on a classic


  • Shaker
  • Strainer
  • 150 ml (5 oz) glass
  • Ripple Maker


  • 60 ml Chai-infused Whiskey
  • 30 ml Lemon Juice approx. half a lemon
  • 20 ml Caramel Syrup
  • 20 ml aquafaba (chickpea brine) or 1 egg white


  • Add all ingredients to shaker
  • Dry shake for 20 seconds
  • Wet shake for 40 seconds
  • Double-strain
  • Print your favorite holiday design and garnish with cinnamon
