Recipe: Spiked Elderflower Lemonade
We’re not quite ready for summer to end, so this week we’d like to offer this gorgeous two-toned spiked elderflower lemonade.
Vodka infused with butterfly pea flowers creates the gorgeous purple hues in this drink (and pairs perfectly with the black carrot extract used for the print on top). We found it quite easy to create our own – steeping the flowers in the vodka (like tea) and then straining after four days. Let us know if you’d like to see a step-by-step guide for that recipe.
St. Germain Elderflower liqueur livens up this cocktail with hints of pair and lychee, adding warm notes and dimension to the lemonade. We’re stretching our summer nights as long as we can this year – and this cocktail is the perfect addition to an afternoon in the sun.
