Rebecca Connors March 14, 2024

Cherry blossoms are starting to bloom from Kyoto to Washington D.C.!  We’re celebrating with Alaska Zwei, a vegan cafe we work with in Tokyo, who gave us this sweet sake sakura recipe to help us hold on to this gorgeous season just a bit longer.

This recipe features Amazake, a traditional Japanese sweet drink made from fermented rice. It has a slightly sweet, tangy flavor and is often used as a natural sweetener in desserts and beverages and Sakura powder, made from dried cherry blossom petals and a common addition to Japanese desserts and drinks. It adds floral, cherry notes to our latte.

A latte art printing machine will add an extra vibe, perfectly capturing the essence of the sakura. season in every cup!

Sweet sake and cherry blossom powder create this amazing vegan, alcoholic Japanese latte.

And that’s what drives repeat visits and long-term profitability.According to Duke University research, 40-45% of our daily actions are driven by habit, meaning customers don’t repeatedly choose a café because it’s the best; they choose it because it’s familiar.Once that habit is formed, switching requires effort, and most people simply don’t.
