Recipe: Tropical Mango Matcha Cold Foam

Rebecca ConnorsJuly 21, 2026

This Summer mango matcha latte is a striking, easy-to-make layered drink that pairs sweet mango purée with earthy matcha and a thick foam cap ready for printing, perfect for summer menus, brunch service, or any venue that wants a colorful, shareable signature drink.

Ingredients

  • The mango purée base:

    • 100 g (3.5 oz) mango, fresh or frozen
    • 2-3 tsp sugar
    • 80 ml (2.7 oz) water

  • Matcha latte:
    • 1 tsp matcha powder
    • 60 ml (2 oz) hot water, not boiling
    • Milk of your choice
    • Ice cubes, optional

    Instructions:

Step 1: Make the mango purée

Blend the mango, sugar, and water until smooth.

    Step 2: Build the base

Pour the mango purée into a glass. Add ice cubes, then fill the glass about three-quarters full with milk.

    Step 3: Prepare the matcha

Whisk the matcha powder with the hot water until smooth and lump-free. Gently pour the matcha over the milk to create beautiful layers.

    Step 4. Froth the milk

Froth a small amount of steady milk to a thick foam and spoon it on top as the final layer.

    Step 5. Print and Serve

On the foam surface, print your desired design using the Ripple Maker, and serve right away.

This latte earns its spot on a summer menu through color alone: the golden mango base and deep green matcha layer create a drink that photographs beautifully before it’s even touched. Add a printed design on top, and it becomes something guests want to share the moment it lands on the table.

The Lesson Many Food & Beverage Businesses Learn Too Late

Food and beverage businesses are usually managed through things that can be measured: costs, staffing, inventory, speed of service, menu performance, waste, reviews, and repeat visits. All of that matters. A business cannot survive without strong operations. But customers do not experience a business through its spreadsheet. They remember how the place made them feel.
