Recipe: Bloody Moon Cherry-Mocha Latte

Rebecca ConnorsSeptember 14, 2026

Get your café ready for Halloween with the Bloody Moon Cherry Mocha Latte, a rich cherry-chocolate drink made for spooky menus, themed events, and seasonal specials. Finished with a dramatic red cherry drip and a smooth cream layer, it creates the perfect surface for a Halloween design printed with the Ripple Maker, turning every drink into a photo-worthy part of the celebration.

Ingredients

Cherry Mocha Base

  • 2 shots espresso
  • 140 ml cold milk
  • 15 ml dark chocolate sauce
  • 10 ml cherry syrup
  • 5 ml vanilla syrup
  • Ice

Vanilla Cold Cream

  • 50 ml heavy cream
  • 35 ml milk
  • 1 tsp vanilla syrup
  • Pinch of salt

Bloody Cherry Drizzle

  • 1 tbsp thick cherry sauce
  • 1 tsp cherry syrup
  • Optional: ½ tsp cherry purée for a deeper red color and thicker texture

Instructions:

Step 1: Prepare the glass

Mix the cherry sauce and cherry syrup, then drizzle a small amount around the inside of the glass, letting a few streaks run down naturally.

Step 2: Build the base

Fill the glass with ice. Add the milk, dark chocolate sauce, cherry syrup, and vanilla syrup, then stir until combined.

Step 3: Add the espresso

Pour the freshly brewed espresso over the milk mixture and gently stir once or twice.

Step 4. Whip the cold foam

Froth the heavy cream, milk, vanilla syrup, and a pinch of salt until smooth, creamy, and still pourable.

Step 5. Finish the drink

Pour the vanilla cream over the latte to create an even top layer. Add a few drops of the cherry mixture around the edge for a dramatic red-drip effect.

Step 6. Print and Serve

Print a Halloween-inspired design on the cream with the Ripple Maker and serve immediately.

This latte turns a familiar fall flavor into a drink guests will want to photograph before the first sip. A printed design on the foam gives them one more reason to share it.
