How many prints can a single pod produce?
Ripples pods produce approximately 1,200 to 1,600 prints, depending on the pod type. Quantities will vary depending on multiple factors, including pod type, design type (high opacity images like selfies & large images use more ink than simple line art designs) and storage conditions such as temperature and humidity.
Can I use different types of pods with the same device?
With the exception of the Ocean Blend, which only works on the Ripple Maker II Pro, any pod can be used with your Ripple Maker. Choose the best color for your venue or event! The Ripples Pods are provided with a protective clip, so you can remove a Ripple Pod and replace with a different one according to your needs, while protecting your pods for re-use. While the Ripple Maker can be loaded with 1 pod at a time, the Ripple Maker II Pro can be loaded with 2 different pods, which allows a wide variety of uses – from printing a spectrum of colors on a single print, printing 2 color designs, or printing with a different color on different drinks.
What is the shelf life for Ripples pods?
For best results, use within 30 days of opening. Store in a cool, dry place.
What are the benefits of Pods Subscription?

What changes can I make to my Pod Subscription?
You can manage your Pod Subscription at any time through My Account → Subscriptions. You can change the delivery frequency, update the quantity of pods in each shipment, postpone your next delivery by up to 90 days, pause your subscription, or cancel it at any time with no penalty. If you would like to switch to a different pod type, you will need to cancel your current subscription and create a new one with the desired pod type. If you need assistance, our Support team will be happy to help.
Can I pause my subscription instead of cancelling?
Yes – you can pause your subscription and reactivate it when you are ready. Both actions are available in My Account under Subscriptions.
How can I purchase a Discovery Kit?
Discovery Kits are available exclusively to new customers when purchasing a Ripple Maker package. They are not available as a standalone product or subscription. Discovery Kits are designed to help new customers explore multiple pod colors and applications from the start.
Which pod works best for my drinks and desserts?
The best pod color depends on the item you’re printing on and the look you want to achieve.
Coffee Drinks: All pod colors work well on foam-topped coffee drinks, except for the Beer Pod. Our most popular choices are the Coffee Pod, Red Pod, Chameleon Pod, Ocean Blend, and Jungle Blend.
Cold Drinks (Cold Coffee, Matcha & Milkshakes): All pod colors work well on foam-topped cold drinks. Customer favorites include the Red Pod, Chameleon Pod, Ocean Blend, and Jungle Blend.
Beer: The Beer Pod (Malt Pod) is specially formulated for beer foam and delivers the best results. Malt is one of the four main ingredients in beer, making it a natural fit that complements the beverage without introducing foreign flavors.
Cocktails: The Coffee Pod is the top choice for Espresso Martinis. The Red Pod, Chameleon Pod, Ocean Blend, and Jungle Blend also create vibrant, eye-catching prints on a wide variety of foam-topped cocktails.
