Birdhouse Wingerie & Bar

birdhouse wingerie

We were so excited to visit Birdhouse – Montreal’s first wingerie, and sit down with the owner George Massouras to find out how Ripples helps them bring their wow-driven mission to life.

THE VENUE AND VIBE
Since opening in 2021, Birdhouse Wingerie and Bar has been a unique addition to the Montreal restaurant scene, offering high-end comfort food to a young clientele who come for the food, the drinks, and the vibe. The ambiance is like nothing else in the city – there are huge screens that play music videos – and weekends are always fully booked.

THE RIPPLES EXPERIENCE
Lots of customers see Ripples-topped drinks from Birdhouse pop up on their social media, and specifically request a printed drink. The drinks menu features a description and a QR code so they can easily upload their own pictures.

If a customer hasn’t heard about Ripples the barmaid will still surprise them with a fun print. Birdhouse prints on every foam-topped drink they serve – from beers, milkshake, cappuccinos, to espresso martinis and any other cocktail with foam.

And of course if there’s a private event  like a birthday or corporate party, Birdhouse will upload custom content for that group – a special touch that amazes their customers and makes the evening that much more special.

THE REACTION
Customers are always amazed. According to George, ninety percent of the time, they’ll reach for their phones right away to snap a photo of their drink.

THE BOTTOM LINE
George said it best: “The Ripple Maker attracts new customers to our restaurant every day, and people always share and tag Birdhouse with a photo of their drink on social media. And it gives them a reason to return. Customers want to show Ripples prints to their friends, or they want to get one of their own photos printed on a drink. It’s the perfect way to elevate and customize their dining experience.”
