stephanie9January 5, 2022

Friday night, during CNN’s NYC New Year’s Eve special, correspondent Donie O’Sullivan, on assignment in the West Village, surprised hosts Andy Cohen and Anderson Cooper with personalized Guinness pints. “We’ve printed your two heads on two creamy heads of Guinness.”He then got a lesson from an expert on how to pour his own perfect pint. The hosts were impressed. “Oh my God, we’re on the foam!” said co-host Andy Cohen. And Anderson Cooper tried his first Guinness ever live on air.  (He liked it. “It’s not like beer, it’s […]smooth!”)We’re still waiting for the official numbers, but experts say at least 3 million people rang in the new year watching CNN’s special coverage. And with an additional 24.5 (and counting) views on Donie’s Instagram, and 152.3k views of his Twitter post, it’s not a bad start for the year.Cheers to 2022! What a great start.
