Recipe: Foam-topped Spicy Margarita

This August weather is putting us in the mood for a spicy cocktail. And this Spicy Margarita recipe featuring Owl’s Brew Wicked Margarita mixer has just the right amount of heat and a lot of citrus to help us create the perfect drink for these hot summer nights.

And then, of course, we have our own secret weapon. Ripples Foamer lets us transform nearly any cocktail into a smooth, foamy treat that will perfectly hold any garnish, especially a Ripples print, even in a cup filled with ice. Whatever your recipe, it’s the easiest way to get smooth, stable drink foam every time. We can raise a glass to that.

Foam-topped Spicy Margarita

Ingredients

  • 2 parts Owl’s Brew Wicked Margarita Mixer
  • 1 part Tequila
  • 3-4 drops Ripples Foamer
  • Tajin or salt for rimming the glass
  • Lime wedge

Instructions:

Step 1: Combine Ingredients

In a shaker with ice, combine the Owl’s Brew Wicked Margarita Mixer, tequila, and Ripples Foamer.

Step 2: Shake

Shake until chilled and frothy, about 30 seconds.

Step 3: Prepare your glass

Moisten the rim of your glass with a lime wedge and tip the rim in salt or tajin. Add ice.

Step 4: Strain

Strain your margarita into your glass. Be sure to fill to the brim.

Step 5: Print and Serve

Top off your margarita with your favorite Ripples print, and serve.
