Recipe: Bourbon Apple Smash

This cocktail is a custom creation for Ripples, bringing back childhood memories in a glass. “It tastes just like the pies my Aunties used to make this time of year.” It’s the perfect transition from hot summer days to chilly fall nights.

A custom twist on a classic favorite that tastes like apple pie in a glass

Equipment:

* Muddler
* Cocktail Shaker
* Strainer
* Ripple Maker

Ingredients
  • 1/2 apple, coarsely chopped (plus slices for garnish)
  • 60 ml bourbon
  • 40 ml cinnamon whiskey
  • 40 ml Monin Caramel
  • 20 ml lemon juice
  • 20 ml aquafaba (chickpea brine, a vegan egg white substitute)
Instructions:

Step 1:

Muddle the apple with the whiskey.

Step 2:

Add all other ingredients to you glass.

Step 3:

Dry shake for 20 seconds, then wet shake for up to a minute.

Step 4:

Double-strain into your cocktail glass.

Step 5:

Print and serve.
