Experiential Dining with Netflix

The Netflix Bites pop-up at MGM Grand takes immersive dining to new heights, bringing fan-favorite shows to life in every dish and drink. From a cotton candy-topped Mind Flayer cocktail (Stranger Things) to an impromptu Is It Cake? challenge with dessert, every menu item is crafted to turn a meal into an experience.

One cocktail in particular caught our attention.

A Ripple Maker Cocktail That Lets You Play the Game

The Squid Game-inspired Pink Soldier cocktail at Netflix Bites turns ordering into a moment of suspense.

Made with gin, Korean soju, and prickly pear, it’s finished with a custom drink print created in seconds using the Ripple Maker drink printer. Each print features one of the iconic Squid Game symbols, a square or a triangle, matching the masks worn by the show’s Pink Guards.

As The Hollywood Reporter describes:
“If you get a square, you are a manager, and a triangle means you are a soldier — your server decides.”

This interactive element turns a simple drink order into a shareable, TikTok-worthy moment.

Why Ripples is the Ultimate Tool for Experiential Menus

More than ever, hospitality is about creating experiences that customers can’t get at home. With Ripples drink printing technology, any bar can offer:

  • Gamified Cocktails – The Ripple Maker’s Surprise Mode setting lets you print randomized designs, perfect for awarding prizes or unlocking exclusive offers.
  • Hidden Messages – GLOW Pods create UV-reactive prints only visible under black light.
  • Themed Moments – Fully customizable designs for curated specials, promotions, and events.

Netflix Bites is proving that interactive drinks are the future of hospitality, and we’re thrilled that Ripples is part of the experience.

Why Investing in Regulars Is the Smartest Move for Your Café

Cafés were never just about coffee; they’re what sociologists call “third places”: the spaces between home and work where people connect, unwind, and feel a sense of belonging. These environments don’t just serve good coffee - they build routines, relationships, and emotional attachment. And that’s what drives repeat visits and long-term profitability.According to Duke University research, 40-45% of our daily actions are driven by habit, meaning customers don’t repeatedly choose a café because it’s the best; they choose it because it’s familiar.Once that habit is formed, switching requires effort, and most people simply don’t. But habit alone isn’t what creates real loyalty - recognition does. Here is why investing in your regulars isn’t just good hospitality - it’s one of the most powerful drivers of long-term business success:
