Make the Most of Valentine’s Day with these Social Media Posts (and show your customers some love)

She said yes coffee print

Valentine’s Day is right around the corner. Pastries and a “cupid cappuccino” (or a fancy foam-topped cocktail?) is the perfect, budget-friendly way to celebrate the holiday, and a latte with Ripples is the perfect way to share a message from the heart.

Make the most of your Ripple Maker investment, and use the holiday to delight your customers, help them show off for their dates, and bring new people to your shop. Social media posts are a great way to amplify your message and let your fans know to work you in to their plans for the day.

Here are a few suggestions to get you started. With pictures from our cafes around the world from last year’s celebration.

1. I love you more than coffee
“He knows you love him. This V-Day, show him exactly how much (luckily no one is asking you to choose). Join us all next week to surprise your special someone with a Valentine’s message, right in their latte.”

2. I’ll be there for you.

Song lyrics, operating hours. Showing off Ripples AND their cupcake printer. San Remo Bakery in Toronto is always at the top of the social media game.

3. I think I like you.

So much better than a candy heart.

4. Simple. Classic. To the point.

Elevate an every-day latte and mark the holiday.

5. Coffee is my one true Valentine
Ok, this one’s from July. But our love of coffee knows no season.

Take it to the next level – Run a contest to increase customer engagement

Valentine’s Day is a special holiday, personal and completely universal all at once. And whether it’s silly or snarky or incredibly romantic, everyone has something to say on the day. Get your team and your customers in on the fun! Amplify your messaging and your impact with user-generated content by sharing the story of any Valentine’s Day moments your customers post about your shop. Run a contest and have people vote on their favorite Valentine’s Day quote, and turn it into a Ripples design.

Or, ask your customers to tag you in a post – sharing why their Valentine is their Valentine. Offer a prize (flowers and a mocha cappuccino? Chocolate cake and a latte?) to the winner and their love – and of course add the couple’s picture and the tweet right on top of the drink for that perfect finishing touch.

We’d love to see what you do for the holiday! Please use the hashtag #drinkripples, and follow us on social to see this year’s special Valentine’s Day messages from the world over.
