What is the Ripple Maker?
The Ripple Maker is a drink printer designed for all foam-topped drinks and some fantastic desserts, like macarons. It prints images on top
of foam using our plant-based extracts. You can choose between the Ripple Maker II (single-color printing with a single pod) and the Ripple Maker II Pro.

What is the difference between the Ripple Maker and the Ripple Maker II Pro?
The biggest difference is that the Ripple Maker II Pro has a dual pod (cartridge) holder so that you can print multiple colors at once, or switch between colors for different designs or types of drinks (Coffee Pod for the morning and then a Red Black Carrot Pod for evening cocktails). It also has robust 3D sensors that can automatically adjust your print size based on your cup’s diameter – perfect for high-volume locations with many different cup sizes.
How big is the Ripple Maker?
The Ripple Maker has a compact footprint and is designed to sit right on your countertop next to your espresso machine or POS device. It measures approximately 8.7” wide × 12.9” deep × 17.3” high (220 × 327 × 439 mm) and weighs around 23.2 lbs (10.5 kg).
How long does it take to set up the Ripple Maker?
Installation takes about 15 minutes and includes choosing an optimal location to position your Ripple Maker, connecting to the internet, and printing a test design
How long does the Ripple Maker drink printer take to print?
From the moment a design is selected, it takes about 10 seconds to print on a drink. Your barista or bartender do not need to operate the Ripple Maker device while it prints, so the process fits seamlessly into their workflow.
What type of drinks can I print on with the Ripple Maker?
Any beverage that has a stable top layer of foam makes a good canvas for printing Ripples – from lattes (hot and cold) and cappuccinos, to milkshakes, beer, cocktails, and chai or matcha teas. For best results, fill your glass to the brim. You can also print on food – we especially recommend macarons.
Will Ripples affect how my drink tastes?
Not at all. Whether you’re making a latte, a milkshake, or a gin flip – none of our plant-based ingredients will affect the taste of your drink. The coffee-based extract has a subtle aroma, all other extracts are odorless.
Can I use different types of Ripples Pods with the same Ripple Maker drink printer? Are Ripples Pods interchangeable?
With the exception of the Ocean Blend and Jungle Blend kits, which only work with the Ripple Maker II Pro, any pod can be used with your Ripple Maker. Choose the best color for your venue or event!
Can I set my Ripple Maker for my local language?
You can currently set your Ripple Maker interface to the following languages: English, French, German, Spanish, Russian, Japanese, Korean, Chinese and Portuguese.
