Ripple Makers will be installed at the Lavazza stand at Host fair in Milan, providing a multisensory experience for coffee lovers

20th October 2017
Ripples Inc., the innovative hospitality marketing platform, today announces that the leading global coffee company, Lavazza, will feature Ripples™ on the Lavazza stand at Host fair in Milan. Visitors to Host Milan (20-24th October) can experience Ripples first hand at the Ripples (Pavilion 14, G39) and Lavazza (Pav. 14, B41 C47) stands.

Lavazza will install a Ripple Maker which will enchant customers with beautiful high-resolution images and messages (known as Ripples) printed on to the foam on top of cappuccinos. Ripples transforms a simple cup of coffee into a memorable encounter, offering HoReCa businesses a new platform to communicate and connect with their customers. Ripples has already proved a valuable tool in driving customer loyalty for many top brands including Hilton Hotels & Resorts, Marco Polo Hotels, Shangri-La, The Four Seasons, Starwood, Twitter, and IBM – producing reactions of utter delight, enhancing business differentiation and profitability.

In the next few weeks Ripples™ will be installed also in the new Lavazza Flagship store which opened in Milan last September. The store is an immersive and eclectic space, designed to showcase the art of coffee as “a new form of expression”; a mission which is perfectly complemented by Ripples.

The Lavazza Flagship Store on Piazza San Fedele, Milan, offers a multisensory experience, with a fresh coffee roasting and blending area, cutting-edge food design and a coffee-bar serving prized Lavazza blends. The store also has a space dedicated to the multitude of coffee extraction and brewing processes, from the classic to the cold brew.

“We’re honored to be part of Lavazza’s world, which showcases incredible innovations in coffee production and its uses. Lavazza’s concept of coffee as a new form of expression is perfectly aligned with Ripples’ mission to turn a simple cup of coffee into an opportunity for expression and create smiles for coffee lovers around the world.”, comments Yossi Meshulam, CEO, Ripples.

Since 2016, Lavazza has merged Ripples into International events such as “Salone del Gusto” in Turin as well as the leading International tennis tournament, Wimbledon, offering free coffees featuring selfies, celebrities and messages to engage with visitors to “The Queue” – the success of this initiative led to further Ripples engagement and sales.

Lavazza is serving Ripples at the Lavazza stand at Host Milan, while a Ripple Maker will also be installed in the coming weeks at Lavazza’s San Tommaso 10 original Lavazza Coffee House in Turin: the café restaurant which is located at the site of the grocery store where Lavazza originated in 1895.
