Common Questions Before Ordering

15 minutes, from unboxing to first print. Choose an optimal location to position your Ripple Maker (counter-height, near the bar), connect to the electricity & internet, install the Ripples Pods and print a test design. Onscreen prompts will walk you through the entire process - no technical expertise needed.

Any drink with a stable foam or creamy top layer. Lattes (hot and cold), cappuccinos, milkshakes, beer, cocktails, and chai or matcha teas. For best results, fill your glass to the brim. You can also print on food, we especially recommend macarons.

No special training required. The touchscreen is intuitive - place your drink on the tray, select a design, done. Most staff are printing confidently within their first shift. We include a short printed guide in every box, and our full Academy is available online if you want to go deeper.

Depends on your setup - the RM II is built for single-color designs on any foam-topped drink at a lower cost, while the Pro handles multi-color printing with two pods loaded at once.

A 1-year hardware warranty and 24/7 support are included free with the order. If your machine develops a fault during the warranty period, we’ll repair or replace it at no cost. If a replacement is needed, we’ll send you a replacement machine first to minimise disruption to your business and keep your operations running smoothly. You’ll then simply need to return the faulty machine to us. Extended warranty coverage is available through our service plan renewals.

No - taste and texture are unaffected. All extracts are plant-based. The Coffee pod has a subtle coffee aroma; all other pods are odourless. Your customers will notice the design, not the ink.

Our Advanced Design Plan allows you to fully utilize all the features of your Ripple Maker, including access to exclusive content designs, the Ripples design library, the Ripples WebApp tool and more. It ensures you get the most out of your machine.

Yes- pods are interchangeable and come with a protective clip so you can swap mid-service. The Ripple Maker II holds one pod at a time. The Ripple Maker II Pro holds two simultaneously, letting you switch colours without swapping hardware. Note: Ocean Blend and Jungle Blend pods are Pro-only.

They scan a QR code - no app download needed. The Ripples WebApp opens in any mobile browser. Customers upload a photo, choose a frame or filter, and tap "Let's Print." The design appears in your machine's queue, paired with a number so the barista can match it to the right drink. Designs auto-delete after ~30 minutes.

The Ripple Maker is compatible with virtually any coffee machine, from fully automatic and home espresso machines to commercial setups. The key isn't the machine itself but the milk it produces: as long as your machine can create smooth, silky microfoam with a glossy surface and no visible bubbles, you'll get great prints.

For the best results, you'll want smooth, silky microfoam with a surface that's mostly white, with little to no espresso staining showing through. Whole (full-fat) milk gives the best results, but plant-based milks can also work well, especially barista editions formulated for frothing. You can create this foam in a variety of ways, whether with an automatic machine, a home milk frother, hand held whipper or a commercial steam wand. Even cold foam, or whip cream can do the job, aim for silky smooth texture without bubble. The smoother and more even the foam, the sharper and more vibrant your prints will look.

Any cocktail with a foam on top, from espresso martinis to whiskey sours, or anything you decide to top with foam using our Ripples Foamer. Shake it up the old fashioned way, use a nitro tap, or a portable whipper. If you are shaking it up, don't forget to double strain with a fine mesh seive to get the silkiest canvas.

and as such we promise to do our best to deliver an amazing product and customer experience and rest assured, to make right any hiccups along the way.
That said, here are some things you might want to know:
* Prior to your Ripple Maker delivery: You can cancel the order at any time and get a full refund
* You can return your Ripple Maker in the original box and get a refund within 30 days after the arrival.
* Please make sure that your machine is in its original condition and packaging, and include all relevant invoices in your return
* The refund will be done only if the Ripple Maker is not physically damaged
* You need to cover the cost of the Ripple Maker return shipment to the Ripples regional warehouse
* The refund will be processed only after the equipment has been returned to Ripples warehouse; it is highly recommended to ship with a tracking number for monitoring purposes
* The refund includes the cost for the returned equipment (including the shipment cost of this equipment to you)
* The refund includes only unopened Pods in their original boxes; used Pods will not be refunded
* To start a return and refund process – please contact: [email protected]
* Ripples warrants only that the Ripple Maker will be free from material defects and perform substantially in accordance with the Documentation for a period of twelve (12) months.
* The entire liability of Ripples and your exclusive remedy under this standard warranty shall be, at Ripples’ option, repair or replacement of the Ripple Maker  with a new or refurbished Ripple Maker , promptly after a warranty problem is identified and within the Warranty Period, and that Ripples approves the RMA. You shall bear the shipping costs to Ripples’ premises and/or other address designated by Ripples and Ripples shall bear the return shipping costs to your address.
* The entire liability of Ripples and your exclusive remedy under this standard warranty shall be, at Ripples’ option, repair or replacement of the Ripple Maker  with a new or refurbished Ripple Maker , promptly after a warranty problem is identified and within the Warranty Period, and that Ripples approves the RMA. * This limited warranty is void if: (i) failure of the Ripple Maker has resulted from accident, abuse, misapplication, negligence or use in any way other than in compliance with the Documentation and the specific instructions given by Ripples (ii) any repair work on the Ripple Maker is performed, or the Ripple Maker is modified or altered, by any party other than by Ripples, (iii) if the Ripple Maker was installed or stored near any heat or fire sources or in a moist environment.
