Hilton Tel Aviv uses bev-top media to keep their customer experience fresh

Situated on the sands of Israel’s colorful seaside metropolis, the Hilton Tel Aviv has maintained a top spot among the city’s hotels and resorts since opening its doors in the fall of 1965. The world-renowned chain is known for its future-forward approach to customer experience, and this five-star property is no exception. Case in point: they were among the first hotel clients globally to introduce Ripples across their property.

Using customized bev-top media on coffee, cocktails, and beer helps to set apart the dining experience at their breakfast cafe, business lounge, and at the restaurant and bar in the main lobby.

Yossi Biton, Director of Operations, explains that printing personalized designs on morning coffee helps this Hilton location to wow the 70% of guests who show up at their lavish breakfast bar every morning. The seamless operation doesn’t slow down service, and the constant stream of organic social media exposure they receive from delighted guests more than makes up for the effort.

“We see lots of people taking photos of their drinks and tagging Hilton Tel Aviv … it’s the exact effect we’re looking for.”

The hotel uses printed signage with QR codes to encourage use of the Ripples Web App. This allows guests to co-create drink designs by sending their own photos to the print queue or writing out custom messages. It works just as well for large groups celebrating a special occasion, as for couples looking for a unique wedding proposal. Biton happily shares that nothing gets their servers as excited as printing out cocktails that say ‘will you marry me’!’

In a year plagued with unprecedented challenges for the travel and tourism industry, bev-top media offers hotels big and small a standout solution for connecting with guests. One that is as safe and reliable as it is eye-catching.
