Recipe: Strawberry Gin Sour

Rebecca Connors April 3, 2024
As the weather warms up, there’s nothing quite like enjoying a refreshing cocktail on a sunny patio. A Strawberry Gin Sour is the perfect companion for those relaxed, outdoor moments. This drink combines the botanical notes of gin with the sweetness of strawberries, balanced beautifully with the tang of fresh lemon juice and topped with a silky egg white foam (and a Ripples print, of course). Customize your Strawberry Gin Sour with a cocktail printing machine.

Strawberry Gin Sour

A delicious gin sour inspired by Spring

  • 60 ml gin
  • 30 ml lemon juice
  • 15 ml strawberry syrup
  • 1 egg white
  1. Combine Ingredients: In a cocktail shaker, combine the gin, lemon juice, strawberry syrup, and egg white.

  2. Dry Shake: First, shake the mixture without ice. This is known as a dry shake and it's crucial for creating a smooth, frothy foam from the egg white.

  3. Wet Shake: Add a handful of ice to the shaker and shake again vigorously.

  4. Strain the cocktail into a chilled coupe glass.

  5. Garnish with your favorite Ripples print.
