Recipe: Empress French 75

Rebecca ConnorsMay 28, 2026

This Empress French 75 puts a vibrant twist on the classic Champagne cocktail, swapping the traditional top-off for a silky foam finish that showcases any indigo gin’s striking violet hue. The floral, citrus-forward notes shine against bright lemon and a hint of sweetness for a cocktail that’s as striking to look at as it is to drink.

The smooth foam texture lifts the floral botanicals and tart lemon in this drink for a finish that feels both festive and refined.

Ingredients:

  • 1.5 oz indigo gin

The French 75 has been a celebration staple since the 1920s. This variation leans into that legacy with a foam layer that’s made for toasting, and for printing. A custom cocktail garnish printed directly on the foam turns any pour into a personalized moment. Consider the Ripples cocktail printer for your next event or wedding bar program. Learn more.
