Hi! I’m Sharon from the Ripples marketing team, and I’m here to share some information that can lead to a boost in your sales.
When you plan your marketing budget and how to attract customers – you think about Social exposure, instore exposure, upsell opportunities etc.
This is not new to you ; You know your business better than anyone else.
But, did you know that small businesses with Yearly turnover of 3 million dollars, allocate around 5% of their revenue
which is around 13 thousand dollars per month for marketing?
The usual marketing investments are Google ads, Facebook and Instagram ads and maybe some local “TripAdvisor” sites that can attract customers.
This is fine – so you brought in customers, but how can you bring these customers to purchase more in your store?
Most of the businesses offer “on counter eye catching” attractions – like cookies, sandwiches and other food that move to “please add me this too” by your customer.
We are now in a new era where you want your customers to enter your store and say “I came here because of a printed drink experience” and with that request – you can pull them to order more of your offers.
And even if they didn’t know you print on drinks – create a suggestive selling like “Would you like your cappuccino with a custom print today?” or “Want to add a muffin to that?” goes a long way in making guests feel seen.
So how do we do it:
First – put some printed coffee or milkshake or even macarons on the counter – let the customer ask “what is it?” or
“can I order one like that”
Second – create posters, table tents with examples of the printed drink
Third – ask the customer to tag your location ; this will attract more people and, back to the marketing budget, give you free social advertising.
So bottom line – if you want your marketing budget working for you and create more traffic in your store, just expose your printed drinks to your customers ; surprise them with a print or suggest it to them. They will do the rest of the social exposure for you.
